Business as Part of the Solution

As part of our program line “Business as Part of the Solution”, we will discuss success factors for investments in Africa together with Henning Jens, finance director at VW South Africa, and present lighthouse projects.
Moving Rwanda is one of these projects, that creates jobs locally by investing in African countries, thereby contributing to development in Africa. The project combines the VW car production in Kigali with a joint use of the cars, as well as a training initiative with a digitization center. At the same time, it reduces the increase of individual transportation and its associated environmental impact.
