Shaping Global Development
Strengthening Africa's Innovative Capacity
Accompanying the Munich Security Conference 2017

The population of Africa’s continent will double until no later than 2050. There lies great potential in a growing, eager, creative youth. Chances are good, for Africa to become a continent characterized by sustainable development and stability. Yet, strong growth of populations does not leave fundamental questions concerning its future untouched – including diet, health, energy, education and employment, and the provision of basic needs. Our future as a global community will be decided upon by the development of the African continent. How will these challenges be managed in joined efforts? How can globalization be shaped in order to provide for a fair, sustainable, and confident future with Africa?
