The International Development Association (IDA) helps improve the lives of 1.5 billion people by providing access to basic health care, water and electricity. Together with experts from politics, academia and civil society, we discussed the need to reform the global financial architecture. In doing so, we particularly focussed on the 21st IDA Replenishment in December 2024 and its geopolitical relevance.
