Global Perspectives Initiative connects the key figures in business, politics, media and civil society to shape a sustainable common future. The focus in this context is on the European-African dialogue. Europe needs Africa as a mutually trusted and respected partner — and vice versa. As an independent and politically neutral dialogue platform, we want to strengthen the European-African dialogue and the multilateral cooperation of the future.

Europe’s Geopolitical Security in a Multipolar World
The global order is changing rapidly, with far-reaching consequences for security and stability in Europe. Germany, in particular, must take on a greater role in ensuring its own security. This requires new partnerships, economic cooperation, and broader security concepts that go beyond military approaches alone. Against this backdrop, Global Perspectives has established the Alliance for Integrated Security. This network aims to collaborate with experts from the Global South to promote a more comprehensive understanding of security.

The Africa Roundtable
The Africa Roundtable is the forum for decision-makers from politics, business and civil society on European-African cooperation, which deals with current pressing issues and challenges of the neighbouring continents and develops partnership-based solutions and models for future cooperation.
Resilient Health Systems
Health is the fundamental requirement for individual, social, economic and political development and stability. Economic growth cannot be achieved without a healthy population. Building resilient health systems requires a global perspective and can only be ensured through coordinated international action. This can only be done by taking into account the views and needs of our neighboring continent.
Business for Future
Without economic growth, there can be no sustainable development. Through dialogue with business and industry leaders, we create understanding, highlight business opportunities and motivate greater engagement on the continent. In doing so, we focus particularly on topics such as entrepreneurship, technology and investment, financial infrastructures and women's economic empowerment in the European-African context.
Future of International Cooperation
Global challenges require a renewed, forward-looking form of multilateralism and a broader understanding of security. Building effective partnerships requires taking at least two aspects into account: the rise of increasingly interconnected international conflicts and the growing importance of the Global South. What does this mean for Germany and Europe? The Alliance for Integrated Security and the Commission "A Changing World - Germany and the Global South," initiated by Global Perspectives, explore this question.
Global Perspectives establishes Commission
“A Changing World – Germany and the Global South”
The countries of the so-called Global South are gaining increasing strategic importance due to their demographic development, natural resources, and their key role in future technologies. Global Perspectives has therefore established an expert commission. It is chaired by former Federal Minister of Defense Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer. The commission has now released its final report with recommendations for action regarding Germany’s relations with the Global South in times of geopolitical shifts.
