Are We Losing Sight of HIV?
Circle: World Aids Day 2020
November 25, 2020
online / Zoom
Over the past two decades, the world has made significant progress in the fight against HIV/AIDS: new infections have steadily declined, and access to life-saving treatment has expanded. The COVID-19 pandemic, however, threatens these hard-won gains. Lockdowns, disrupted supply chains, strained health systems, and the diversion of resources have stalled HIV programs, particularly in the Global South.
To shed light on these challenges and the way forward, Global Perspectives, in collaboration with ONE, hosted a press briefing with leading global health experts.
