Amadou Hott is a candidate for the Presidency of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in 2025. Previously, he served as Senegal’s Minister for Economy, Planning, and Cooperation and as AfDB Vice President for Power, Energy, Green Growth, and Climate Change. His career includes roles in investment banking, such as Director at Millennium Finance Corporation for Africa, CEO of UBA Capital, and Founder & CEO of Senegal’s Sovereign Wealth Fund.

Mavis Owusu-Gyamfi is President and CEO of the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET), Africa’s leading economic policy institute focused on moving Africa beyond growth and toward transformation. Ms. Owusu-Gyamfi’s career spans over twenty-five years in economic and social policy making and development, across Africa, Asia and the Caribbean, working with institutions like the UK Department of International Development.

Dr. Vera Songwe is Chair and Founder of the Liquidity and Sustainability Facility. She was also a senior advisor to the Bank of International Settlements (BIS). At the BIS, the Bank of Central Banks, she worked with the Financial Stability Institute. Dr Songwe is a senior nonresident fellow at the Brookings Institution with global development. She was the first woman to lead the UN Economic Commission for Africa as Executive Secretary, holding the rank of Under-Secretary-General.

Ambika Vishwanath is the Co-Founder and Director of Kubernein Initiative, a geopolitical advisory and think tank in India. She is a recipient of the DFAT funded Maitri Fellowship and is currently conducting research on climate partnership opportunities between India and Australia at La Trobe Asia University. She works at the intersection of water, climate security and geopolitics, and building an understanding of India's growing global engagement.
