The Africa Roundtable: The Africa Roundtable N°1
June 9, 2021
online
With Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Macky Sall
Rebuilding a more resilient economy following the end of the Covid-19 pandemic will be of central importance for Europe and Africa. At the same time, the crisis offers both continents the opportunity for a green transition. This major challenge can best be accomplished by the two continents working together. The first edition of The Africa Roundtable conference therefore focused on the topics of “Covid-19 Recovery” and “Green Transition”. The selected decision-makers from politics, business and civil society in European-African cooperation discussed how recovery can succeed.
