Forests play a vital role in local economies and global climate protection. They cover a third of the planet and host over 80% of biodiversity on land. In Ethiopia, strategic investments in forestry are already driving a green economy while supporting the country’s ambitious goal to halve CO2 emissions by 2025. This offers new opportunities for European actors to engage in Africa’s sustainable forestry movement.
